Tad Robinson and his band pull into Zionsville Feb. 11 with a power-packed, stage-shakin’, rhythm and soul-blues revue. This is Tad’s full seven-piece ensemble, complete with smokin’ horn section. Think you’ve heard Tad before? Not like this, and not playing fresh cuts from his soon-to-be-released album. Backing Tad will be Paul Holdman on guitar, Kevin Anker on keyboards, Jeff Chapin on drums, David Murray on bass, and Michael Stricklin and Marlin McKay on horns.
Robinson is riding high on his latest CD release, Back in Style, from Severn Records. The disc has spurred three 2011 Blues Music Award nominations from the Blues Foundation: Soul-Blues Album of the Year; Blues Song of the Year, for opening track, “Rained All Night”; and Soul-Blues Male Artist of the Year. - Gourmet Valentines Day Dinner

Valentine’s Dinner with romantic dinner from French Chef Ghyslain. - Will Kimbrough, Tommy Womack, and Lisa Oliver-Gray in Concert
Saturday, April 28th. Dinner at 6:00pm, music at 8pm
The band DADDY comes roaring up from Nashville, Tennessee, featuring prolific recording artists Will Kimbrough and Tommy Womack. Drawing on juke-joint blues, swampy-groove country and honest-to-god rock and roll, with stops in gospel and beat-poet territory along the way, DADDY has been hailed by critics and fans for electrifying live performances that embrace a wide scope of what's great about American music. Alabama homeboy Kimbrough (2005 Americana Music Association Instrumentalist of the Year) and Kentucky-bred Womack (two-time winner of the Nashville Scene Best Song Award) have a musical and personal kinship that flat out clicks. Included with DADDY is Lisa Oliver-Gray, often mentioned with Emmylou Harris as “the best voice in Nashville.” Do not miss this show—make a date now with DADDY!
